The plumber did a great job. He was punctial, courteous and professional. It was a new toilet. He took it out of the box, knew what to do and installed it in no time at all. Afterwards he flushed to make sure there were no leaks. I'm attaching a photo of how nice the toilet looks. It's my first time using Philco Plumbing and Heat...and would definitely call them back. The labor cost was reasonable and quick.They get a Five Star!!!
Had a great experience with Alec. I ran into some issues before a new appliance delivery and he came by super short notice, and super early to help before they came in. He unhooked and capped a gas cap (the lines were stuck) and replaced two shut off valves (they were shot and I could not turn the water off to unhook the washer). He was on time, communicative, and his price was fair. And worth calling out he really pushed himself to get the job done before the delivery came (which he did). Can recommend you give them a call.
Phil was early, assessed our boiler room and provided me with what was needed to stay in compliance. He was honest and advised that the corrections to our boiler would be costly, but advised that we could shop around if we didn't agree the price. That made me feel at ease, and I hope to continue to work with the company in the future.
I have not used them yet. The job would be in a coop built in 1965. The job, in the kitchen, involves installing shut off valves and speed valves. They came to assess the situation, and now I have to get information from Management before the job can start. The workers who came were polite and seemed competent and professional. To be continued.
Incredibly professional, hard-working, and effective. The job ended up being bigger and more complicated than first suspected (a leak that was very hard to access), but they kept at it until they had it figured it out and made the repair. Made a giant mess during the job—and cleaned it all up thoughtfully before finishing. Justin and Julio worked tirelessly until the job was done (a long day!), rather than leave me without a sink and toilet for a night! Really grateful. Will absolutely hire again.
Wonderful working with Al and his team. Al was quick to respond to my call and diagnosed the issue with our garbage disposal on the same day while his office seamlessly handled all insurance requirements with my apt building. Within a few days, the necessary parts were ordered and the garbage disposal was installed. While there was a delay in obtaining the necessary parts (not the fault of Al/Philco), I was impressed with Al's upfront and communicative nature throughout the process. I would not hesitate to use them again for our plumbing needs.
I had an emergency in my kitchen for a burst pipe that had seeped through my kitchen floor. Philco came at the drop of a hat, located the leak and did a top notch job. They worked with such professionalism, effectiveness, and made the repair cleanly. Since then I’ve used them for bathroom appliances and I have to say their prices are fair. You won’t find plumbing work like this anywhere!
Excellent work and they are super professional. They fixed my problematic toilet when other plumbers couldn’t figure it out. Don’t bother calling anyone else — these guys are the best.
